WHO WE ARE
Young adults in the 318 area needed a place to belong. So we created a venue to meet together, to meet Jesus, and connect with the local church.
Back in 2019, a group of young adults in Shreveport, LA found themselves searching for a ministry that focused on the community of people transitioning out of college; navigating into young adulthood and finding themselves in an unfamiliar place in life. While some churches in the area offered such a ministry, we wanted to create one that people from all backgrounds, all walks of life, and all churches could be a part of.

Through worship services, empowering messages brought by local church leaders, engaging community events, and the occasional coffee meet up, YALA is making a point to bring the young adult community of the 318 back together.

So whether you're trying to connect with 20 & 30 year old's in the area, wanting to fill that sense of belonging among the church, or just looking to find a new ministry outside of Sunday, we'd love to have you.
